Job Overview
As a Motion Designer at NLC, you will create animated video assets including explainers and logo animations. While your primary focus is motion, having strong video editing skills is a plus. Many client projects require blending animation with footage or timing graphics to edited sequences, so the ability to work comfortably inside a timeline is valuable. Skill in social media ad editing is also a plus, as many animations are built for ads, reels, and short-form promotional content.

What We Look For In Our Team
We value motion designers who understand animation principles deeply but also know how to work within an edited timeline. Having strong video editing or social media editing experience is a plus, especially when creating motion that complements pacing, dialogue, or performance-driven ad styles.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for various formats.
- Build animated elements for use in ads, long-form content, and standalone motion projects.
- Integrate motion with footage when needed, including timing animations to edited sequences.
- Collaborate with editors on social media ads, ensuring motion enhances the final product.
- Deliver organized After Effects project files and exports.
- Maintain a high level of creative quality while meeting turnaround times.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in motion design using Adobe After Effects.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating animation fundamentals and design quality.
- Video editing skill is a plus (Premiere Pro or similar).
- Social media editing skill is a plus, especially experience with reels, ads, or short-form promotional content.
- Solid understanding of timing, easing, composition, typography, and color.
- Strong English communication and the ability to work remotely on multiple active projects.
