4 Marketing Channels You Should be Prioritizing

Marketing is a critical part of any business. Without a good marketing strategy, you’ll realize your business’s true potential. Of course, there are many different marketing channels that you can use, and it can be difficult to know which ones to prioritize.

In this blog post, we will discuss four marketing channels that you should be focusing on right now!

What is a Marketing Channel?

A marketing channel is a method used to get your product or service in front of potential customers. There are many different marketing channels available, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.

Why You Should Prioritize Marketing Channels

There are many reasons why you should prioritize marketing channels, but one of the most important is that it will help you reach your target audience. When you know who your target audience is, you can focus on the channels that they are using. This will help you to get in front of them and to make sure that they see your product or service.

Another reason why you should prioritize marketing channels is that it will help you to save money. By focusing on the channels that are most effective, you can reduce your overall marketing budget. This will allow you to reinvest the money saved into other areas of your business, or into new marketing campaigns.

4 Marketing Channels You Should be Prioritizing

There are four main marketing channels that you should be focusing on right now:

  • Websites and Blogs
  • Social Media Marketing (SMM)
  • Video Marketing
  • Email Marketing

Let’s dive into each channel and explore why they should be a priority for your business.

#1 Websites and Blogs

It all started here and websites and blogs are still one of the most important marketing channels available. A well-designed website can help you to reach new customers and to build trust with your target audience. A well-designed website is also a major component of building a loyal customer base. When it comes to blogs, when you create blog content that is relevant to your product or service, you not only attract new leads but also stand out as an industry leader.

Does your website or blog need an update? Consider working with a web design company to make sure that your site is updated and optimized for search engines. If hiring a web designer isn’t within the budget you could also learn how to do it yourself with resources like WordPress. Remember your website is often a potential customer’s first interaction with your business so make sure it makes a good impression!

It provides businesses with a way to reach a large audience quickly and easily and connect and engage with their customers in ways that were never possible before. Not only that, but social media marketing can also be very cost-effective, as it often doesn’t require a large budget to get started. When used correctly, social media can be a powerful tool for any business.

Need help getting started marketing your business on social media? Start small. Figure out which social media platforms your target market spends the most time on and start there. Pick 2 or 3 platforms to start with. Once you’re comfortable with those, then you can start to expand and try new platforms.

#3 Video Marketing

With the rise of platforms like YouTube and TikTok, video marketing has become one of the most popular marketing channels available. In fact, research shows that video content is now the most consumed type of content online. Video marketing is a great way to reach new customers and build trust and credibility with your target audience. It’s also an excellent way to show off your product or service in a way that is both engaging and visually appealing.

  • Live video: Live video is a great way to connect with your audience in a more personal way. You can use live video to answer customer questions, give tours of your facility, or show off your product or service in action.
  • Product demonstrations: A product demonstration is a great way to show potential customers how your product or service works. This type of video is especially effective if you have a product that is new to the market or that has unique features.
  • Customer testimonials: Customer testimonials are an excellent way to build trust and credibility with your target audience. They provide potential customers with real-life examples of how your product or service has helped others and can help to increase conversion rates.

#4 Email Marketing

Email marketing is often thought of as an old-fashioned Video that allows you to connect with your audience in a way that is both personal and engaging. Setting Goals for your Business in 2022

The beginning of a new year symbolizes a fresh start for you and your business! But before the ball drops and you close the books on 2021, it’s time to set specific goals for your business in 2022.

What do you want to accomplish? Reflecting on the year, what will you do differently in the new year? In what area do you want to grow? Where do you need to scale back? What was your greatest accomplishment this year? What is a mistake you’ll never make again?

Taking time to reflect on all the ups and downs your business went through this year will help you figure out exactly what you want the new year to look like.

New Year, New Goals! But before you write down those new goals, keep these things in mind:

Goals should be ambitious but realistic.

Setting goals that are attainable is key. Don’t set yourself up for failure by being unrealistic about what you can accomplish. Nobody likes feeling like a failure by February. Setting small, specific, achievable goals will give you the motivation and boost you need throughout the year to keep working towards what you want to accomplish.

Accomplishing goals can trigger new behaviors, and help sustain momentum. Set yourself up for success by finding the right balance between ambitious and realistic.

Goals need to be specific and measurable.

How much more money do you want to make? Choose a specific number or percentage. How many more employees do you want to hire? How many more products do you want to create? How many more new customers do you want to win over? Are these short-term goals or long-term?

Being vague and nonspecific about your goals might be tempting, as it may seem they will be easier to achieve that way, but you’d be doing yourself a major disservice. Push yourself by being specific and detailed in your goal setting, doing so will set you up for success and keep you on track.

Goals are nothing without an action plan.

A goal without a plan in place to achieve it is nothing more than a pipe dream. How are you going to get new customers? What steps are going to take to create a new product? Who within your company needs to be a part of your plan? What is the deadline? Write down your plan with as much detail as possible, including how you will track your progress as you go.

Keep in mind that as you work towards your goals, you may need to adjust the plan as you go. Sometimes you won’t know what works and what doesn’t until you’re in the thick of it. And that’s okay! Be adaptable.

How will you stay on track?

It’s not enough to just plan out your goals, you have to actually do the work. And it’s not like you’ll get fired if you don’t! So how do you stay accountable? Try including your team in some of your goals. You’ll most likely need their help to accomplish the task and now it’s a group effort. Set a goal with a reward attached to motivate and get everyone excited.

Write down your goals where you can see them every day. Set an alarm on your phone to remind you to review your goals every day. Tell a family member or friend about your vision. Post it on social media for the world to see. The more people who are aware of your goals, the more pressure and motivation you’ll feel to achieve them.

What if you fail?

Setting goals is talked about all the time, but what isn’t talked about enough is what happens when we don’t accomplish what we set out to do. Start by changing what the word “fail” means to you. The only true failure would be to not try at all.

If something is proving to be more difficult to accomplish than you originally thought, all it means is you need new strategies, ideas, or in some cases a new timeline. Revise the plan and try something new. Take a step back and be honest and inquisitive and then be willing to take constructive feedback. Don’t point fingers or place blame. Find a way to reignite your passion and drive and try again.

Sometimes what we originally perceived as a failure ends up opening up new doors and new opportunities, so don’t give up!

Goals are nothing without an action plan.

Time to set those goals! Need a little inspiration?
